21 Day #SlateDrawingChallenge!

Here at the Slate HQ, we believe that Creativity is a muscle that needs to be exercised daily. And so, to live up to our mantra, we planned last year to embed a 21-Day Drawing Challenge in the Slate 2015 Planner!

The 21-Day Drawing Challenge is found on the August dashboard of your Slate Planner, but of course, for everyone’s reference, we’ve made it available for you below.

Most of us have heard that it takes about 21 days to form a habit. Whether that’s true or not, we’re pushing for this 21-day challenge in hopes that it forms a creative habit in you.

For the next 21 Days (whenever you want to start, you’ll find words or phrases that describe the theme for the day. They daily theme is yours to interpret. It can be an illustration, a collage, or even a photograph you’ve taken. What matters is you put your personal spin to it and create an original piece of work.

To make this challenge a little more exciting, we’re giving away Sloots to our weekly faves! Share your daily challenge results to us by uploading on Instagram with the hashtag #SlateDrawingChallenge, or sending it to livecreatively@slateplanner.com! We will be collating works, and uploading them all in an album in our Facebook Page.

And since August’s theme is “Constant Change: Create. Initiate.” we will be featuring three artists on our Live Creatively: Personal Project Series who have gone through personal daily creative projects. Stay tuned!
